12 Most Hotly Anticipated Video Games You'll Need To Play In 2016

7. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (PC, PS4, XBO)

After more or less screwing up the entire planet with his decisions at the end of Human Revolution, Adam Jensen returns in Mankind Divided, to a world where 'naturals' (people with nano-augmentations) are fearful and hateful towards those with nano-technology implanted into them. The bulk of the action in the latest entry in the much-loved dystopian RPG series takes place in Prague in 2029, and revolves around Jensen's work in attempting to mediate between terrorists and the corrupt security organisation that he works for. As you'd expect, Mankind Divided will offer players freedom about how they develop Jensen and approach events in the world - be it through stealthy vent-crawling, smooth-talking people into doing your bidding, or using lethal nano-aug abilities to charge headlong into gun battles. The Prague setting looks particularly impressive, combining the city's iconic old architecture with the clinical metallic structures that we're familiar with from previous Deus Ex games. The sepia tint of Human Revolution also looks like it's been toned down in favour of a more high-contrast noir filter, making for a crisp, fresh new look. Expect spectacular new augmentations, a gripping story, and all the conspiracy theories that you secretly believe about the Illuminati and corporations to become realised in one of the most tantalising games of next year.
