12 Nintendo Switch Exclusives - Ranked From Worst To Best
10. 1-2-Switch
In hindsight it was a great idea to parse out the part of the Switch's appeal that bore the most resemblance to both the Wii and Wii U. By segmenting all this "motion controlled gimmick" stuff to a separate title, it allowed Nintendo to show off the Switch as a return to their hardcore gaming routes - whilst also seeing if that Wii Sports/minigame demographic remained.
In honesty, though? 1-2-Switch - despite being a cool idea in terms of ditching screen-watching and imagining sports equipment yourself... just wasn't fun. Turns out trying to play ping-pong based on nothing but swipe and bounce noises isn't the best experience, and that's before you have a go at baseball where there's no indication when each part of play should start or end.
You can certainly see what Nintendo were going for - and in service of a "the Switch is for rooftop parties!" marketing tactic, it would've been bang on - but in reality... 1-2-Switch fails more than it lands.
