9. GTA Online Has Nowhere To Go
It’s odd to
think that Grand Theft Auto V first released way back in September 2013. It’s a
mark of the fandom’s love for the series that the game continues to be as
popular as it is.
By the same token, it’s a mark of Rockstar’s love for their flagship franchise that the game’s online component (which launched at the beginning of October that year) is still being treated to updates and expansions.
Even with all this being the case, though, there’s only so much that can be done. Some of these updates have been real gamechangers, introducing Heists, Organizations and the like, while others have largely revolved around cosmetics and a few new weapons/vehicles.
After almost seven years, it’s tough to know what’s left that can really shake things up. These factors have just made the need for a Grand Theft Auto VI announcement even plainer.
