Donkey Kong Country 2 concludes with Diddy and Dixie Kong facing off against Kaptain K. Rool. The musket-blasting pirate pulls out all the stops, giving the monkey duo the fight of their lives.

But after K. Rool is supposedly beaten, Cranky Kong alerts our heroes their adventure isn't finished. To defeat the Kremling leader, Diddy and Dixie must find all the bonus levels, win every Kremcoin, and collect every DK coin. Since these collectibles are extremely well-hidden, this task is anything but easy.

After completing absolutely everything, the banana-loving pair will face K. Rool one last time. Since this is the final, FINAL battle, the Kong's arch-enemy is expected to put on quite a show.

That's why it's disappointing to learn K. Rool is out for the count after getting hit one time.

Now, that's not suggesting the brawl is a cakewalk. After all, K. Rool can only be bested after dodging dozens and dozens of projectiles.

But considering how much work players have put in to reach this point, the developers could've cooked up something better than a boss that can be beaten in a minute.
