12 Video Game Series That Are Crying Out For A Remake, Remaster Or New Entry

NBA Jam might be known as the arcade basketball game to beat, but NBA Street Vol. 2 goes toe-to-toe with it on the court.

Offering a perfect mix of stylised, colourful visuals and pick-up-and-play gameplay, NBA Street Vol. 2 is welcoming to those who live and breathe basketball as well as those who don’t know their two-pointers from their three-pointers.

There's also a surprising amount of depth, with the Gamebreaker system offering the potential for huge scores if timed correctly, and the kind of tricks that even the NBA's finest wouldn't attempt on a court.

We’d argue that the gameplay doesn’t need to be touched, and while a remaster could be tricky given the licensed soundtrack and players, it can’t be any duller than EA’s recent NBA Live titles.

With 2K Playgrounds not scratching that NBA Street itch, we'd love to see even a smaller-scale version without the licensed players.
