What do you get if you cross the battle system of Tekken with the 3D adventure gameplay of something like the original Tomb Raider games, then blend them together in a big vat with a pile of steaming horse dung? Well, you'd get Spawn: The Eternal.

Barely playable as an actual game, Spawn plays horribly, has a dreadful camera and - somehow - the game manages to make even the simple task of walking through a doorway incredibly difficult thanks to controls that don't respond quick enough to button prompts.

That's just the 3D exploration sections too! In combat, the game adopts a similar style to fighters such as Tekken, but instead makes sure that hits aren't registered correctly, the moves are poorly animated and the titular character feels less like a badass, and more like a hopeless lunatic swimming through treacle.

Then there's the graphics. Hoo boy - this game, even for its age, is really scraping the bottom of the barrel here. It's a blurry, pixellated mess all the way through.
