I am admittedly one of the most terrible players in existence when it comes to fighting games and pretty much just mash buttons like theres no tomorrow. I play video games for fun though, and sometimes theres nothing more fun than watching a complex combo come out from hammering on the controller. OK, so maybe Im exaggerating a little. I reached Level 50 something, got decently far in STAR Labs, and beat the exciting story mode. Point is, whether youre a professional or not, if a fighting game is at least accessible it can sometimes be a blast to play. NetherRealm Studios definitely seems to understand this too considering their games cater to both sides of the fence. Best Moment- If theres one area NetherRealm is iconic for its their grisly, brutal, and gory Fatalities in their legendary Mortal Kombat franchise. And while it was expected that DC wasnt going to let NetherRealm replicate something as visceral, comic book fans and fighting genre aficionados alike still wanted to see some creative Super Moves that jived correctly with the personality and fighting style of each character. The results ranged from Superman punching foes to the heavens, Batman indirectly committing a hit and run, to Aquaman having sharks eat people. Viewing them all for the first time was a wondrous voyage full of bone-crunching moments, and below is a video showing them off.
