13 Massively Hyped Upcoming Video Games That Will Totally Disappoint

Release Date: TBA
The Hype: Syphon Filter developer SIE Bend Studio's latest title is an open-world, post-apocalyptic survival horror in which the protagonist attempts to evade hordes of extremely fast-moving (and plentiful) zombie-like creatures known as "Freakers".
Originally unveiled at E3 2016, the game quickly turned heads with its impressive visuals, jaw-dropping volume of enemies on the screen at once, and a bleak tone akin to The Last of Us.
Why It'll Disappoint: The main worry about this game is that it won't be different enough, essentially cashing in on the success of both open-world games and Naughty Dog's survival horror classic, but ultimately proving to be an inferior, unimaginative riff on both.
It'll probably get a competent 80-something on Metacritic, but considering that the game's already being hyped to the moon with no release date yet in sight, this one seems destined to fall below expectations.
