Release Date: October 17

The Hype: As they do every year, 2K Games has promised that WWE 2K18 will be a substantial improvement upon the last game, with a more dynamic Universe mode, an updated graphics engine, reworked commentary, more interactive elements backstage, and an overhauled Royal Rumble that will allow up to eight wrestlers in the ring at once.

Why It'll Disappoint: As enticing as this all sounds, the 2K WWE games have generally been pretty disappointing so far, and innovation has been promised year-in and year-out without actually delivering. Safe to say, it's best to wait for reviews before committing your cash, unless you absolutely have to have this day one.

Expect bugs, underwhelming visuals and a sloppy, laggy online multiplayer suite as usual.
