13 Things That Could Completely Ruin Upcoming Video Games

13. It Doesn't Need To Be Three Games - Final Fantasy VII Remake

Fans are rightly skeptical about Square Enix making three games out of the much-anticipated Final Fantasy VII Remake, because given how inconsistent the series' games have been in recent years, what's to say fans are even going to enjoy a single entry, let alone three?

Hell, even if the game's good, that doesn't mean it warrants three purchases, either resulting in a bloated final product in order to justify the price tag or individual installments that feel a little on the lean side.

How Likely Is It?: It's a move definitely not beneath Square Enix, and considering that the original game could be cleared in about 30 hours, distending it out into three games is somewhat concerning.

It really depends on the size of each third and pricing, but considering the massive, fanbase-exploiting payday this game can be, it's probably best not to trust Square Enix on this one. 8/10
