14 Awesome Summer 2017 Video Games You Probably Missed

Online VR games are always a bit of an uneasy proposition, because as the owner of any VR headset will know, the multiplayer communities for VR games are always much smaller than for "flat" games, and as such have a tendency to die off rather quickly indeed.

CCP's clever solution to this with their VR sports title Sparc, then, is to make matches 1v1 only, meaning you need only find a single other player to get a game going, and even if you have to wait a moment to get into a game, the spectator mode is absolutely incredible.

Know that Sparc is an incredibly physical game, certainly one of the most active VR titles available on any platform, to the point that some players have even estimated the calories lost during a half-hour play session.

It's a shame there isn't more to do, especially in terms of the nearly non-existent single-player offering, but the multiplayer suite is so damn fun (and sweaty!) that it's easily one of PSVR's best online experiences to date.

Fingers crossed that the online community survives, especially as many players are surely waiting for that £24.99 price tag to drop a little.
