Fullbright's follow-up to their much-loved Gone Home is a riveting sci-fi exploration game set aboard an abandoned space station in the late 21st century.
Though gameplay may not amount to much more than exploring the ship and watching hologram-esque recordings left behind by the departed crew, Tacoma's incredible voice acting and mysterious narrative make it a highly compelling slow-burn.
If you weren't a fan of their previous game this quiet, restrained adventure won't do much for you, but if you're craving a character-driven sci-fi that skirts around the genre's usual cliches, it's an experience like little else this year.
