14 Best PlayStation Games Of 2015

9. Super Meat Boy

Yes, Super Meat Boy came out back in 2010, but the PS4 version has been a long time coming - so much so, in fact, that it released with a whole new soundtrack. Such a massive change was actually down to original rights holder Danny Baranowsky not wanting to play ball for the re-release, but the result was a trio of other composers pitched in to fill the gap - including Hotline Miami's David "Scattle" Scatliffe, who you might know from that game's exemplary first offering.
Gameplay-wise it's the same SMB that we've come to know and love/get infuriated by. Level difficulty ramps up quite considerably after the first world, and once you get a feel for the precise weight and 'floatyness' of Meat Boy's movement, you'll only be cursing yourself when a pixel-perfect jump goes awry. There's something about what Team Meat achieved with Super Meat Boy that's just platforming personified, a timeless addition to the genre that only gets better with age and reputation.
