14 Most Disappointing Video Games Of 2018 (So Far)

12. Devil May Cry HD Collection

While there's no denying the gnarly brilliance of Capcom's trilogy of hack 'n slash classics, they're given a shocking disservice here with one of the laziest major "HD" collections in recent memory.

Baring an appalling resemblance to the version of the trilogy ported to the PS3 back in 2012, the resolution boost and smoother frame-rate are the only features that make this howlingly low-effort port worthwhile to even the most hardcore DMC fan.

The FMV sequences and even the game's menus have essentially been ripped wholesale from their original releases, even appearing in a 4:3 ratio that'd be hilarious if it wasn't so utterly embarrassing.

Again, the games themselves are still a joy to play, but if you were hoping for anything more than the most bog-standard upgrade, this just didn't do the job.
