14 Things We Learned At The Game Awards 2017
5. Sea Of Thieves Finally Lands On March 20

Sea of Thieves has been lingering around for so long without a release date that it had a lot of gamers skeptical about the actual state of the game, but Rare has now finally confirmed that the pirate sandbox title will be releasing on March 20th of next year.
It was a weirdly understated reveal considering how eagerly Rare has pushed the game in recent years, perhaps in an attempt to avoid a No Man's Sky-esque PR fiasco, where the end product couldn't even begin to live up to the hype.
It looks fun for sure, though it just remains to be seen if the game ends up overly reliant on emergent gameplay experiences or not. For what will apparently be a $60 game, it sure needs to come out with all guns blazing.
