What should make for a runaway success on Xbox One, State of Decay is one of the most immersive zombie survival games of all time.

Setting up a set of mechanics where time never stops, even if you make camp and turn the console off it still ticks away. This means you could get raided while at your real-world job or school, might have to allow real time to pass so specific areas get more or less populated, and also ensures the general threat of being clawed to death never goes away.

The biggest new addition - and reason it'll hopefully become a multiplayer sensation - is online co-op for up to four players. At any given time you'll have to watch out for one another, clear out buildings, establish new outposts and stay alive. There's driving, meaty melee combat, survivors to find and better equipment to build.

Here's hoping this does catch on, as Xbox One fans have to be starving for something exclusive thrown their way for quite some time.
