4. Victoria's Laboratory - LittleBigPlanet 2
As cool as the traditional food theme is, you'll notice that a lot of the higher entries on this list cover levels that mix it with something else to make an even more interesting experience.
That's what Victoria's Laboratory from LittleBigPlanet 2 does, it mixes a cake world with a laboratory which works well to distinguish this from the myriad of other food levels found in gaming.
This amalgamation of two themes also works to give the levels within the world some variety. You start off on a cake themed train where you're introduced to the Grabinator that allows you to solve a few food-themed puzzles.
After that, you end up in Victoria's Garden which is just a garden made of cakes and other food items.
The next two levels have you travelling through Victoria's Laboratory which is still of course cake themed. After this, you fight a boss and the best world in LittleBigPlanet 2 draws to an end.
Also, the world is run by Victoria von Bathysphere whose name is a reference to the very British, Victoria Sponge Cakes which works really well seeing that the world is a British inspired cake world. It's genius.
