Back in 2013 Rockstar single-handedly proved the older consoles you had sitting tightly under your TV were just as capable - even more so - of wowing you with fancy graphics and expansive worlds as the newer, flashier titles like Battlefield 4 and, erm, Ryse: Son of Rome are. Taking an already award-winning tried n' tested formula and pushing it to the brink, GTA V is part three's original concept for a 3D GTA perfected. Characters like Trevor pushed the boat farther out than ever before, whilst others like Michael attempted to delve into the idea of a protagonist in these games having a family. It may have fallen down a little in actually delivering on its story potential, but when it comes to tackling the huge amount of content on offer, the fact you can do so in everything from a fighter jet to a monster truck is a righteous cause for celebration.
