15 Essential Video Games Worth Buying A PlayStation 4 For
9. Nioh

Ni-Oh has the very real potential to be a sleeper hit for the PlayStation 4. Although we're still several months away from seeing a full release (barring any delays), early demos and trailers exhibit all the necessary ingredients Team Ninja needs to guarantee a sure-fire success.
In the simplest terms, Ni-Oh splices together gameplay elements from their own Ninja Gaiden series with FromSoftware's niche-turned-mainstream-classic Dark Souls franchise to form an incredibly hard but satisfying experience like no other.
Combat exhibits a satisfying mix of speed from the former, and the thoughtful strategy from the latter even going as far as to adopt the risk/reward levelling system of Souls for an extra modicum of tension.
As of now, Ni-Oh is still very rough around the edges, but I have faith in Team Ninja to give this one their all. Anything less will result in a tragedy of wasted potential.
