15 Greatest Steam Video Games Of The 2000s

9. Company of Heroes - 11th September, 2006

With only two possible contenders, Company of Heroes is not only one of the greatest Real Time Strategy games, but its way up there with the best of the best when it comes to all strategy games. A near-perfect simulation of World War II battles, almost everything about Company of Heroes is perfection. Alongside Warhammer 40K, Relic Entertainment is one of the masters of Real Time Strategy. They have every aspect of RTS down to a tee. From the incredible sound design to the extensive variety of maps to the level of detail on every soldier, Relic produced a masterpiece in Company of Heroes. Both the multiplayer and single player games are excellent. The campaign is absorbing and brutal, capturing the destructiveness of war, and the multiplayer is the battles we know and love, but with actual humans! What the critics say: Gamespot: 9/10 IGN: 9.4/10 Steam User Reviews: Overwhelmingly Positive (95% Positive) Metacritic: 9.3/10

Fred hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here. Maybe. It might be over there. We're not really sure.
