15 Hilarious Voice Acting Fails In Video Games

9. Tenchu: Stealth Assassins

The voice acting in ninja stealth-em-up Tenchu is of the sort that would be accused of racial stereotyping if it wasn't made in Japan. Thankfully, it was made in Japan, so feel free to point and laugh at it to your heart's content.

It's hard to tell who, or what, exactly it is that you're dealing with when you face off against this portly boss, but its bizarre voice - that seems to switch tone halfway through and turn from goofy to outright demonic to a squeaky cackle at the end - marks a fitting end to an unsettling level. Also, what's with the sound of that baby crying in the background?

The off-kilter uneasiness of the scene gets shattered by the robotic voice of protagonist Ayame, who sounds a bit like those text-to-voice apps you used to get on older versions of Windows.
