15 Hilarious Voice Acting Fails In Video Games

10. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Now, Oblivion's voice-acting is wrong in many ways, with all the voices sounding like four American live-action roleplaying fans doing their best 'fantasy-British' accents with little understanding of what that's supposed to actually sound like. Orcs, humans and elves all have interchangeable voices too, giving much of the game's interactions an uncanny feel.

We kind of love Oblivion for its vocal idiosyncrasies, but this blunder here maybe goes a step too far, as at the end of the statement you can hear the voice actor asking to "do that line again", before indeed delivering it all over again. In fairness, the second delivery was better than the first, but where was the sound editor to make sure that our in-game experience wasn't suddenly transported to Bethesda's sound-recording studio?

Even the character delivering the line doesn't seem to know what to do about the mistake, as her mouth gets stuck in a kind of snarl before moving completely out-of-sync to the words.
