5. Batman: Arkham Insurgency

We always knew another Arkham game would arrive at some point, and thanks to a massive leak from a disgruntled Warner Bros. employee, we know the next game in the series will be called Arkham Insurgency, and will likely debut at E3.

You can read all about it here, but sufficed to say Rocksteady are maintaining their distance, letting Warner Bros. Montreal step in, who appear to be listening to all the complaints from Arkham Knight. That means no more tank sections, proper boss battles, the Joker taking a back seat, combat refinements and - more divisively if you wanted a post-Knight story - a prequel arc about how Batman and Robin became best buds.

It's entirely possible all this 'leak' was fabricated, but when so much lines up just right - and enough time has passed for the public to be hungry for another instalment - here's praying it all comes together.
