Its trailer might be a little too heavily weighted towards comedy, but everything about how Destiny 2 will play should be spot on.
After all, that was the only worthwhile takeaway from the original; Bungie hadn't missed a step in continuing where Halo left off, helping craft the finest first person sci-fi experience known to man.
Granted, everything outside of that core experIence was completely lacking in literally every respect, but that's precisely why a sequel can get so much right. The (Grimoire) cards are already dealt, it's just a case of assembling them in the right order.
An in-depth story, great characters, worthwhile motive and enough variety online to prevent running the same areas over and over is all we need. There's an inherently addictive quality to how Destiny handles itself already, and all Bungie need to do is not mess up that potential.
