What if this particular game was designed by the chaps who also created PS1 classic, Syphon Filter, are one of the Sony's first-party exclusive teams, and helped bring multiple Uncharted games to the PSP? Yes, those guys.

SIE Bend are the team, and though we know next to nothing about Days Gone other than that you'll be tackling hordes of the undead at once, yet even that small aspect has wowed upfront. Somehow, Bend have found a way to make hundreds of zombies move in a more 'liquid' fashion, literally bursting and pouring from all openings as the entire horde is hot on your heels.

You'll apparently have access to traps and other environmental triggers to stymy the enemy flow, leading this river of badness through the most complex paths possible to survive. It's all very vague, but if you like your zombie games in the style of Dead Rising or Left 4 Dead's most frantic moments, Days Gone feels like it'll fit right in.
