15 Most Underrated Nintendo 3DS Video Games Of All Time
11. Project X-Zone
Project X Zone is a beautiful mess. It’s a strategy role-playing game with battles involving moving your characters around what’s effectively a grid-based map, whilst attacking and defending yourself from enemies with numerous abilities, and a battle system that even resembles that of an actual fighting game.
The gameplay may be a little daunting at first, but you’ll quickly get the hang of it. Another reason Project X Zone may be a little intimidating to certain players is also the main selling point of the game, and that’s simply the sheer number of characters included.
There are characters included from three different game companies; Namco, Sega, and Capcom, allowing for some really unique and interesting interactions between characters we wouldn’t normally see together. It also shows a a lot of love to lesser known characters like Soma from God Eater and Hsien-Ko from Darkstalkers, and that can only be a good thing.
Audiences may have been a little overwhelmed on release, but if you can get your head around everything the game has to offer, then you’re in for a good time.
