It is the biggest angle in professional wrestling history. It is also the most disappointing angle in wrestling history. The main issue with the invasion angle was down to the fact that a whole catalogue of WCW's best weren't available to work. They were on guaranteed contracts that still had a while to run so while they were sat at home running them down, a lot of the young and lower card talent took their places. How good would it be to fill in the blanks and have the best of the best facing one another and finally seeing which promotion was the true top dog. Saying that, there was still some truly memorable moments during the invasion angle that would be cool to recreate. Whatever the approach they take, an Invasion angle would be a winner.
