7. Camping Around Xur's Spawn Point On A Friday Morning
Every Friday at 9am GMT, a mysterious vendor named Xur, Agent Of The Nine spawns in the Tower and opens up shop. Xur acts as a Black Market of sorts within the game; he sells ultra rare Exotic gear which is unbelievably hard to obtain through other means. Quite how he came by all this rare loot is unclear but, like that kid who used to smuggle junk food into school to sell it to people, we aren't going to question it. Naturally, Xur's wares have become increasingly more sought after as more players hit the level cap and acquire the needed currency, so every Friday morning, people tend to camp around his spawn point, eager to see what rare items he'll have this weekend. Xur obviously doesn't like an audience though as he tends to move to a different location every weekend; that rascal.
6. Tower Football Is Better Than Fifa And Pro Evo Combined
The Tower is designed as a Social area within the game; yes, you come here to decrypt Engrams and buy stuff from Vendors but it's also the main hub for the game. You can meet up with your friends, pick up bounties and have a little rest before you jump back into your ship on another adventure. Admittedly, the Tower could use a wider variety of activities but if you're complaining about having absolutely nothing to do while waiting around, you haven't discovered the joys of Tower Football. There are actually two balls hiding in the Tower, waiting for Guardians to play around with. One is a genuine football, the other is a purple volleyball-type-thing. Both can be knocked around by players and you'll be surprised just how many people you can see chasing a ball around once you get it going. Now all we need are space jumpers for goalposts and we've got ourselves a proper game.
I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
