Sometimes games can inspire people to do weird and creative things. There's hundreds and hundreds of Twitter parody accounts out there (basically, people pretending to be someone else for humorous effect) but end the contest guys; Destiny spawned the greatest of all time. @TheCryptarch is based around the in-game Cryptarch and his quest to troll players by handing out Uncommon and Rare items while keeping all the Legendaries for himself. It's definitely worth a follow. @LegendaryEngram is even more bizarre though. These tweets come from a particularly sly Legendary Engram who refuses to hand himself over to players (or to suddenly appear for the "unworthy" players). Full credit to the geniuses behind these accounts as they're genuinely funny; if you're a fan of Destiny and you're on Twitter, they're definitely worth a follow.
4. That Weird Invisible Button In The Tower
Destiny is a game that keeps throwing up little surprises and this one might still be unknown to many people. In the Tower, on the West balcony that overlooks the center of the Tower, there's an invisible button which can be found. When pushed, the button activates a fan on top of the Postmaster's Shack which pushes players up into the air. It's a neat little thing to find but... why? It just seems so weird to have this one button which activates a fan that is able to push players into the air for a second or two. Although, like the football, if you and some friends start messing around with the fan, you're guaranteed to be joined by a few more Guardians looking for aerial adventures. Perhaps this was Bungie's intentions for a "social" area all along; perhaps they simply wanted people to mess and play about without the need for communication or co-ordination. Whatever the reason, we hope to see more of it if/when Bungie decided to add new developments to the Tower.
I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
