15 Severely Underrated Xbox 360 Games That Deserve A Second Chance
11. The Saboteur
It pretty much goes without saying that if you've heard of Pandemic Studios, it's probably because you played the Battlefront games. They also made a little known game called 'The Saboteur', but due to its mediocre critical and commercial reception it ended up proving to be the studio's downfall - an untimely one at that. The Saboteur puts the player in the role of a resistance fighter in Vichy France during the height of the Nazi occupation. Using a colour pallet heavily reminiscent of 2005's Sin City, noirish tones are supplemented by gashes of red in occupied areas of Paris - the colour only changing once areas have removed the swastika and dispatched the various Wehrmacht soldiers within. It's a very stylistic title, and one that still holds up graphically today. The TPS elements may not be the most refined or even the most innovative, but for what it is The Saboteur is an underappreciated gem that should've done much better when it released.
