15 Things Only Video Game Completionists Will Understand

8. Boosting Is Totally Acceptable, And Used

Well, if there's a multiplayer achievement you can get with a little tiny bit of help from a friend, why not do it? Believe me, I know how angry this will make some people. Boosting is looked down on, if you can't do it legitimately then why the hell are you even doing it? Well you see, sometimes achievements require way too much luck, or having a friend help will cut down on the time required DRASTICALLY. Hell, sometimes all you need is a second controller connected and you can boost by yourself. What easily comes to mind are fighting games, where you need to win X amount of matches online; you can just go back and forth with a friend, splitting wins until you both get the achievement. There are many, many more games and achievements like this as well.
