15 Upcoming Games To Make An Xbox One Worth Buying
10. Superhot
Superhot was initially conceived as a part of the 2013 7 Day FPS Challenge, in which competing teams had just a week to develop a functional FPS game. The title was originally released as a browser game around a year ago, though a more refined version has been in development for the Xbox One. The central mechanic simply sounds brilliant: when the player stands still, time moves very slowly, allowing them to think about their next move and even take advantage of the gimmick to avoid slow-moving bullets. When players move, though, time speeds up, so each action needs to be well thought-out in order to progress, especially considering that one bullet is enough to kill the player. The Xbox One hasn't really done much business with indie fare so far, but the addition of games like this to its line-up suggests they are taking the scene seriously. Visually, it looks insane, and the fiercely original gameplay style could make this a future classic. Release Date: June 2015 Also Available On: PC
