15 Upcoming Games To Make An Xbox One Worth Buying
9. Ori & The Blind Forest
Adopting a visual style similar to Ubisoft's UbiArt graphical engine, which proved hugely successful for Rayman Legends and Child of Light, Ori and the Blind Forest has all the makings of an artful indie hit. Players control guardian spirit Ori, who finds himself lost and alone in a forest, and eventually teams with Sein, a friendly companion who helps guide Ori and fend off enemies. With its beautiful artistic style, appealing character designs and ambitious concept, Ori has all the makings of an intelligent title for the discerning gamer, an emotional journey that, while not stretching the Xbox One's graphical prowess, could still prove to be one of the platform's most engaging titles to date. With the promise of zero loading times and no re-used environmental assets, Ori could be an all-timer if it lives up to this enormous potential. Though the game is due for a Q4 release this year, it sadly wouldn't be a surprise to hear this date slip, given that it's already almost mid-October and players are still waiting for an announcement. Release Date: Q4 Also Available On: PC & Xbox 360 (2015)
