One of the most intriguing trailers from last year’s Wholesome Snack stream, Arcane Eats is a roguelite deck builder with a twist.

Instead of putting together a chain of damage output, you’re stacking ingredients and serving up famished fantasy creatures in your own restaurant. Putting together the right meal to avoid your customers impatience and fulfill their hunger, and earn as many tips as possible from the likes of the brilliantly-named Guy Fairy and Gorgon Ramsey.

Fans of the genre will instantly recognise the formula at work, and it seems heavily influenced by the likes of Slay the Spire, but its shake-up of the tone makes for a much more relaxed affair. It’s not without its challenges but it's overall more forgiving than most, allowing you to feel free to experiment with your deck design.

So far, the game’s demo has received well over one hundred “very positive” reviews on Steam. Wonderbelly Games should serve up Arcane Eats sometime in 2026.
