4. Xenoblade Chronicles X

The spiritual successor to 2010's Wii hit Xenoblade Chronicles, X takes the open-world RPG format of the original game and simply aims to make it bigger and better. Players can now navigate the world in Dolls, weaponised mechs which can fly and even transform into motorcycles. The plot seems to be relatively familiar "explore a new world while running from aliens" fare, though if the planet, Mira, lives up to the gorgeous visuals we've seen so far along with the promise of deep exploration, it could probably end up teaching Destiny a thing or two about how to pull off complex, ambitious sci-fi. Everything shown off about this game so far suggests a fine build on the brilliant original, meaning Wii U owners could have an all-timer classic on their hands here. Release Date: 2015
