9. Star Fox: Grand Prix

Last month, word from the ever-reliable Nintendo leaker Liam Robertson suggested that Retro Studios was hard at work on a Star Fox-themed racing game called Star Fox: Grand Prix.

It was extremely easy to believe this one, and while the game almost certainly does indeed exist, it strangely sat out E3 completely, perhaps being pushed aside in favour of that hard sell for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Assuming the game is real - which it probably is - it looks like it'll get a more unassuming reveal later in the year in a random Nintendo Direct. Perhaps the same one that drops the first Metroid Prime 4 gameplay? We can only hope.
