16 Crucial Questions For 2016's Most Anticipated Video Games

10. Will No Man's Sky Be A Victim Of Its Own Hype?

Release Date: June No Man's Sky was first unveiled two years ago, and immediately created a tidal wave of hype regarding its procedurally-generated open universe, allowing immense, virtually limitless exploration (apparently). Still, the hype train has certainly slowed down over the last year or so, as many have come to question whether the game is setting itself up to be another Spore, an ambitious title that can't live up to the expectations it set for itself. Prediction: This one really feels on the money. Hello Games have continually been pretty vague about the interconnected-ness of the game, and so it's understandable that many players are apprehensive about a day-one purchase. It's obviously smart to wait on reviews for a game like this, but one suspects it will be praised for its ambition but also criticised for not presenting enough unique and original content, nor a true feeling of community or "belonging" in this world.
