16 Essential Video Games Worth Buying An Xbox One For
8. Forza Horizon 2
Back to things that are out right now, Forza's spin-off Horizon series is the nearest thing we're going to get to a new Burnout game - or a Need for Speed that isn't cutting off its own limbs just to try and establish a Fast & the Furious 'group dynamic'.
Granted, that comparison may be a little overblown considering the immortal arcade charms of something like Burnout 3: Takedown (what.a.game), but as Horizon's titular festival provides a lighthearted backing to all your sun-drenched escapades across a bevy of Europeans cities, you can't help but drawn comparisons.
Built as an offshoot from the more serious main titles, Forza Horizon 2 retains its older sibling's immaculate car handling, but bolsters it with more intricate course design - even adding a ton of splintering scenery to plough through - alongside a TON of collectibles to find on your travels.
Like a mishmash of Burnout: Paradise's open-world concept, twinned with the muscular stature of Forza, Horizon 2 doesn't just leave the likes Driveclub at the starting line, it insults their very existence and leaves them crying in the corner.
