12. Crash Bandicoot Returns... Sort Of

At some point Sony are going to have to label this remastered trilogy 'Crash Bandicoot: Cautiously Optimistic', because it doesn't feel like there's any way in hell they can pull it off.

Let's just go with the idea that they can for now though, as the roof was promptly blown off Sony's E3 conference hall when the announcement came. Crash's first, second and third outings are all up for the 'remaster' treatment, and thanks to those games being so old - and tangled up in ownership rights snafus with Naughty Dog and Activision - chances are they'll have to be rebuilt from the ground up, a la Final Fantasy VII's remake.

Either way you slice it, Crash is coming to PS4, and provided his new character model doesn't look like the one featured in the new Skylanders, it can only be a good thing.
