18 Greatest Video Games Of The PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 Generation

12. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Video games are becoming more and more like movies with every passing year; some may view this as a bad thing but when it's bringing us games like Uncharted, who cares? With a series of engaging and thrilling action sequences, Uncharted 2 is a wonderfully cinematic experience; the sort of title you want to play on a giant cinema screen. That's aided by some incredible visuals (pushing the boundaries of the PlayStation 3 like crazy) and a terrific voice cast who really bring the action to life. The story can be a little uninspired at times, but as with your typical blockbuster the cast really carry it through and keep the excitement up throughout. Plus, the game comes with an impressively in-depth multiplayer mode which is designed to suck hours away when you've clocked the campaign. Uncharted might have been hit with a "Dude Raider" tag (for it's similarity to a certain female-fronted adventurer) but even Lara Croft's finest hours seem tame when compared to this extraordinary effort.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
