5. It Doesn't Feel Like God Of War - God Of War

Why It Might Suck: Though the upcoming God of War quasi-reboot is unquestionably one of the year's most anticipated and talked-about games, a large swathe of fans are worried that the game may end up no longer feeling like a God of War game.

With its new camera system, lack of button-mashing mayhem, generally overhauled combat system, more "restrained" approach to mature content and inclusion of open-world elements, many feel that the game will simply be so far divorced from what made the series popular in the first place that Sony should've probably called it something else.

It's not easy to believe that God of War will be a bad video game per se, but it could certainly be a bad God of War game, which would be almost as disappointing.

Why It Might Not: There's clearly a ton of passion going into this game, and what's been shown off so far looks nothing if not gorgeous, so why can't God of War move with the times a little while still retaining the cartoonish brutality which came to define the series? Wait and see on this one.
