18 Underrated Hidden Gaming Gems Of The Current Generation You Need To Play

6. Tenchu Z

Rather like Alpha Protocol, the core animation and A.I. that hold up parts of Tenchu Z are lacking a much needed coat of polish, however for any who were fans of the franchise up to this point it was more of the same rooftop-leaping, shuriken-throwing, jugular-gutting brilliance. Featuring an online mode that let multiple ninjas simultaneously infiltrate compounds and alleyways, it was dragged down somewhat by incessant lag on all but the most sterling of connections, yet the controls were incredibly tight once you got used to them. Featuring a robust character creator, many unlockable moves and skills alongside fifty levels packed full of the signature Tenchu-gadgetry, this was still a solid entry to the series. If you€™ve been raised on the likes of Splinter Cell€™s penchant for careful sneakery or you like playing Metal Gear Solid without acknowledging the full-auto options, it€™s worth discovering one of the finest stealth franchises out there.
