As for Guitar Hero Live, it will likely face harsher criticism due to the lack of backwards compatibility with both prior songs and instruments, not to mention how many songs from the track list are simply recycled from previous games in the series. Even with the game's prohibitive price point for all players, expect it to nevertheless enjoy broad praise for its introduction of live action video accompanying your rocking out. Neither game will likely end up successfully surging their respective series back to life, but they'll probably do well enough to provide a decent jolt all the same.
