19 Predictions For This Fall's MetaCritic Gaming Scores

16. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5

MetaCritic Score: 63 What To Expect: A game that never reaches the soaring highs of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (98 on MetaCritic) nor the devastating lows of the horribly misguided Tony Hawk's Ride (44). Much criticism has already been lent to the game's awkward skater animations and heavily dated visuals, so even with the recent addition of cel-shaded graphics to try and cover up this fact, expect the low-rent presentation to be a major bone of contention for many critics. Even so, it'll probably win a few points on nostalgia value alone, as most of the press probably recommends fans to wait until the game is at a budget price befitting its evidently flung-together production. Don't expect it to restore the series to anything approaching its former glory, but on the other hand, it could be much, much worse. There's no plastic skateboard peripheral this time, for one... Release Date: September 29 (PS4 & Xbox One), November 10 (PS3 & Xbox 360)
