8. Emily Burke's Bizarre Cat Dream
The first time we meet grizzled Monarch henchman Liam Burke in the game's first live-action episode, he's heading home to visit his pregnant wife Emily, because hired thugs have families too, right?
This is all well and good, generic but fine, until Emily begins telling her hubby that she had a dream where he was a cat, had big furry cat paws too big for his body, and "it was a strange creature, but I knew it was you."
On one hand, it's certainly more interesting than the generic placeholder exposition and crappy soap opera drama we otherwise have to sit through, but on the other, it doesn't make a lick of sense. Or is it supposed to be symbolic of Liam's plight throughout the game...somehow. Armchair psychologists, have at it.
