5. Grim Fandango Remastered Version Coming For PS4 & PS Vita
We all love surprises, and Sony had a fantastic one up their sleeve for PS4 owners. Sony's VP of Publisher & Developer Relations Adam Boyes began by reading out a letter from a "young girl" called Sally, who expressed a desire to play some of the best games ever made on the PS4 rather than resort to piracy. Of course, Boyes soon realises that the letter isn't from Sally, but rather Tim Schafer, before announcing that Sony have teamed with Disney to be able to develop a remastered version of classic adventure game Grim Fandango for PS4 and PS Vita. Naturally, the roof blew off the house at E3 as nobody could have possibly anticipated this, especially considering the game's relatively poor sales when first released in 1998. Schafer also entertained the idea of the game being released on other platforms, stating on Twitter, "Talk about other platforms soon! Sony's been a great help making this happen & we're excited to be working with them on the console version!" It's simply awesome that a whole new generation of gamers will get to play one of the greatest video games ever made, in HD no less!
