Gran Turismo is a game of completion. Your purpose is to get to 100% through successfully carrying out test runs, rallying races, championships and arcade mode, and every time you achieved 25%, you’d get a new car.

Arcade mode consisted of stages with over a half a dozen tracks, with either road or rally races. The only way to advance to the next stage was to complete all the tracks. With 30+ racing tracks to choose from and over a hundred vehicles to drive, the game never got boring.

Want to know what it feels like to drive an Aston Martin Vanquish or a Lamborghini Diablo? This game offers this via its unique combination of realistic controls and stunning visuals. Driving characteristics such as traction, acceleration and top speeds were unique to each car. In other words, no two vehicles were alike.

Apart from this, game developers created a driving wheel specifically for GT3 named the GT Force wheel, complete with accelerator and brake pedals. This was innovative as it gave the player the chance to be completely immersed in this racing experience and appreciate above all, the care and attention to detail paid to every single car.
