20 Dumb Choices That Will DESTROY Your Game Save
17. Picking YaoGuai - Amazing Cultivation Simulator
Amazing Cultivation Simulator is often described as an ancient China version of RimWorld. You control a settlement of acolytes as they try to achieve enlightenment through the practice of martial arts, meditation, and alchemy.
The simulation is full of convoluted mechanics that may feel overwhelming to beginner players, but with this said, make sure to at least understand one of them right away, or else you can lose your save file in a really embarrassing way.
When you begin the game, you get to design your own starting acolyte. Aside from their appearance and characteristics, you have to decide whether they are a human or a YaoGuai, a race of half-humans and half-animals.
Now, although the latter option may look interesting and offer various perks, the YaoGuai are secretly a ticking time bomb.
This is because, lore-wise, YaoGuai are actually just animals transformed into half-humans, and when you start the game, they only have a limited amount of time before they revert back to their basic form and become unplayable.
If you start a game as a YaoGuai and transform back before you recruit anyone or find a way to prolong your magical existence, you can lose all of your progress before you even realize what’s happening.
