20 Dumb Choices That Will DESTROY Your Game Save

13. Getting Drunk - Deep Rock Galactic

Deep Rock Galactic is a co-op shooter in which you and your friends play as sci-fi dwarves extracting precious ores from a planet crawling with giant space bugs.

True to their fantasy counterparts, Deep Rock dwarves love to drink ale, but getting wasted on company hours isn’t really advisable, especially if your job is being sent on suicide missions where it’s pretty useful to be able to shoot straight.

The Abyss bar in the game allows the player to buy drinks with the money they get from completed missions. While some of these drinks can actually provide useful buffs that carry over to your next gig, drinking too many of them can lead to your character’s vision getting heavily obscured… which can also carry over to the mission sections of the game—for their entire duration.

Although the drunk effect is pretty hilarious while you are in the hub area, once you descend to the mines to start your job, being unable to shoot or see upcoming bugs can lead to a total mission failure.

A drunk dwarf (or an entire drunken crew, for that matter) can even cost you an important mission that you won’t be able to repeat.

It’s time for an intervention.
