I could go on and tell you about Ivy's backstory, that she's the illegitimate child of Cervantes, but let's be honest, we all remember Ivy because of how she looks. With her short, shiny white hair and her revealing costume that leaves little to the imagination, she certainly distinguishes herself in the SoulCalibur roster, pretty much to the point of absurdity. Her outfit and absurdly proportioned body have caused to her to be both championed and criticised as far as the sexism debate goes, and even for the standards of this franchise, which is seemingly obsessed with large-chested, athletic fighters (Taki, anyone?), Ivy is essentially a 12-year-old wet dream put into motion. But this is not to ignore the fact that she's also a brilliant fighter, and that's what really matters. It's fair to say that Ivy is one of the most difficult fighters to play as in SC, so she's not recommended for newbies, but as one begins to master her skills, specifically use of her snake-like sword, Valentine, she can become one of the toughest fighters in the game.
